A Place to Pause: My Studio Sound Healing Recordings

Life can get loud, externally and internally.

Between work, messages, responsibilities, screens, and the constant pull to keep moving, many of us spend the day in a state of “on.” Even when we finally sit down, the body can take a little longer to catch up.

That is why I created a collection of healing sounds for you.

Each session has been recorded in high quality in the studio, with care given to the depth, clarity, and texture of every sound. These are not recordings to rush through in the background. They are an invitation to pause, soften, and create a small pocket of space in your day.

Whether you are new to sound healing or already have a regular practice, these recordings are here to meet you where you are. 💜

Sound as a ritual of rest

There is something powerful about giving yourself permission to simply listen.

You do not need to achieve anything. You do not need to meditate “perfectly.” You do not need to clear your mind or have a particular experience.

You can lie down, sit comfortably, close your eyes, or simply let the sound play while you rest (in your headphones, ideally!). Allow yourself to be immersed in sound and receive.

Many people use sound as part of a wind-down ritual, a moment of reflection, a meditation practice, or a gentle transition after a busy day. Slow, intentional listening can offer a helpful cue to step away from constant stimulation and bring attention back to the present moment.

Research into music-based interventions suggests they may support stress-related outcomes, although everyone’s experience is personal and results can vary. Think of these recordings as a supportive wellbeing practice.

How to use the recordings

Try creating a simple five-minute pause:

  1. Choose one recording from the playlist.

  2. Put your phone on silent or face-down.

  3. Get comfortable and take a few unhurried breaths.

  4. Notice the sounds without needing to analyse them.

  5. When the recording ends, take a moment before jumping back into your day.

You may feel calmer, more grounded, or simply more connected to yourself. Or you may just enjoy the sound. Both are enough.

These recordings are a reminder that rest does not always need to be elaborate. Sometimes it begins with pressing play, taking a breath, and allowing yourself a few moments to be held by sound.

I hope you enjoy and wish you a wonderful relaxation and sleep.
