In our modern & buzzy life, we are so often surrounded by people, places, and situations, and it might happen to us that at the end of the day, we feel tired, dull or drained.
After living in the city of Berlin for almost three years, I learned how important it is to actively cleanse my energy—especially after work or while commuting—to avoid bringing unnecessary “weights” back home.
Now living closer to nature, I’ve realized how much the environment supports energy balance.
For those in natural settings, practices like long walks, connecting with the elements, or even hugging trees can work amazingly. But not everyone is so lucky to have natural landscapes nearby.
So here are 10 powerful habits are easy to incorporate, wherever you are. They help shift your energy, bring consciousness to your daily actions, and direct your willpower toward what you truly WANT to attract.
The first 5 practices are more concrete, the latter 5 more subtle ones, and might require a greater level of trust and connection to feel their effects. No doubt, they will elevate your vibration regardless you think so or not (it's energy - it's there even if we don't see it!).

The Practices:
1. Take Intentional Showers
Showers don’t just cleanse your physical body—they can also refresh your energy body (Pranamaya Kosha). Imagine standing under a waterfall of light, cleansing you from head to toe. Visualize negativity flowing down the drain, being transmuted into light.
2. Wear Light Colors
Light-colored clothing resonates with higher vibrations and shields you from absorbing external energies, especially in crowded places. Black and dark tones can attract and hold onto energies around you, so choose light colors to feel uplifted.
3. Turn Off the TV
Television, particularly news, carries heavy and often negative vibrations. Even when we’re not actively watching, these energies seep into our subconscious. If you are to watch digital content, consciously select uplifting content and make sure to create quiet time to recharge.
4. Say Thank You Before Meals
Before eating, pause for a moment. Look at your food—its colors and composition—and express gratitude. How wonderful is it to have this beauty under your eyes?
You can also set an intention: that your body absorbs only what is nourishing and releases anything unnecessary.
5. Use Fluoride-Free Toothpaste
Fluoride is known to calcify the pineal gland, often referred to as the seat of intuition in spiritual traditions. Switching to fluoride-free toothpaste is a small but impactful change to support clarity and energetic openness.
The Subtle Practices
These habits work on a deeper, energetic level, shifting what you radiate outward and strengthening your connection to yourself.
6. Repeat Affirmations in the Morning
As soon as you wake up, your mind is still in the receptive range of Theta waves. Use this powerful window to repeat affirmations like, “I am aligned with my highest purpose” or “I radiate positivity.” Visualize yourself living these truths.
7. Say a Prayer Before Bed
End your day with a moment of reflection. Recall the events of the day, express gratitude for the lessons (both good and challenging), and let everything go. This practice clears lingering energy and invites restorative sleep.
8. Scan Your Body with Palo Santo
Using Palo Santo or natural incense is a sacred way to cleanse your energetic body (aura). Move it gently around 10cm from your physical body with the intention to clear and let go of stagnant energy.
9. Invite Gratitude
Shift your awareness to gratitude and acceptance instead of focusing on what’s wrong, which anchors you in negativity. This subtle but powerful change in mindset elevates your energy and what you attract.
10. Do What You Say You’ll Do
Every time you follow through on your words, you build trust with yourself and others. This strengthens your energy and the power of your intentions, turning your words into tools for manifesting in your life what you feel called to.
These practices are not about perfection or fear of what's "outside" of us — in fact, on a higher level, everything is connected and there is no such inside and outside. However, on the physical plane we might still experience changes and fluctuations when our vibration drops (more on this to come!), so directing our willpower toward energy cleansing, protection and intentionality is key.
Let's shift the paradigm: start to energize what you want in life.
Whether you live in a city or a natural setting, these habits can transform how you feel, act, and interact with the world around you. Start with one or two practices, and observe how they shift your energy.
Start to embody the example you want to see in the world. 💫
